Tom Chat - Gameweek 7 (26/27)
Another week, another reshuffle. UNBEATABLES are still setting the pace in AllSwengland, while the Matchleagues are getting increasingly tight. Division 1 in particular is extremely congested, and the Reality Matchleague has a familiar name back at the top. 😁
Masterleagues
UNBEATABLES hold onto top spot in AllSwengland after scoring 66, moving onto 541 points.
Behind them, MOATY'S MANIACS climb from fourth to second on 520, while Pontus Gunlycke's two teams sit together in third and fourth. FOREVER QPR are third on 517, ahead of Reality League side FOREVERGAIS on the same total.
VICTORIOUS SECRET remain fifth on 510, meaning just 31 points separate second from fifth.
In Masterleague 1, UNBEATABLES lead MOATY'S MANIACS, FOREVER QPR, VICTORIOUS SECRET and WILLS WINGDINGS.
FOSSIL PARK EAST continue to lead Masterleague 2 on 457, with DHILLON'S HATTERS moving into second on 436 ahead of GLORYGLORY on 432.
The week's biggest mover was further down the table. TRUMPTON TOWN scored 84 – the highest total anywhere in Swengland – taking them to 399 overall and providing a much-needed boost after a difficult start to the season.
In the Reality Masterleague, FOREVERGAIS remain well clear despite scoring only 44 this week. They lead on 517, with MAFIA FOUR LIONS RL now second on 473 and HOTSPUR AND BOTHERED third on 467.
EZE DOES IT are now out in front.
A 75-64 win over REPLACEMENTS made it five victories from six and moved them onto 15 points, two clear of UNBEATABLES.
UNBEATABLES beat FOSSIL PARK EAST 66-60 to move into second, while previous co-leaders FOREVER QPR slipped to third after losing 76-63 to WILLS WINGDINGS.
TASTUR BONDAI BARCA are level with FOREVER QPR on 12 points after beating CHACARITA 70-65.
It has been quite a turnaround for FOSSIL PARK EAST. They started with three straight victories but have now lost three in a row and drop to tenth.
Elsewhere, ST IVES SEAGULLS beat JDEACON7 78-60, MOATY'S MANIACS defeated VICTORIOUS SECRET 71-63, and COYS FC edged JURYSOUT 72-68.
Six Matchweeks down and only three points separate second from seventh.
Division 1 is now extremely tight.
BADLY GOOD remain top, but their 83-75 defeat to DZEKO & THE BUNNYMEN means there are now six teams tied on 12 points.
Alongside BADLY GOOD are ALPHA ATHLETIC, TEAM GOTLAND, DZEKO & THE BUNNYMEN, GREMLINS and CORNISH REDS, separated only by points difference.
The standout result belonged to TRUMPTON TOWN, who followed up their first win of the season last Matchweek by beating RED EXILES 84-69. Four defeats to start the season have now been followed by two wins in a row.
CORNISH REDS edged COMMITMENTS 77-74, GREMLINS beat BY 'ECK 77-54, and TEAM GOTLAND defeated BECKENBAURFLY 68-62.
ALPHA ATHLETIC had a comfortable 67-42 win over REAL ALE ROVERS, MAFIA FOUR LIONS beat GLORYGLORY 61-52, and HOOFBALL saw off MISSING LINK 69-51.
Only three points separate first from 12th, so very little currently separates most of the division.
There is very little between the top two in Division 2 either.
HENRY C FC remain top after edging MAKRILLARNA 44-41, but BONGO FURY are level with them on 15 points following a 53-35 win over LIVERHAM.
ATLETERNA stay close behind on 13 after beating WHALLEY RANGE FC 46-36.
LALJILAND FC beat DHILLON'S HATTERS 70-62 in a mother-versus-son encounter, with Mum taking the bragging rights this time. Consider it a practice run: the two meet again in Gameweek 9 in the Arnold Bolt Trophy.
PELUQUEROS ILEGALES beat IFK HARLTONHAM 60-40. There was also a draw in Division 2, with TEAM GEORGIES BOYS and KNEEJERK TITANS FC finishing 59-59.
Elsewhere, GOTHATTERS FC beat SPECKLED JIMS 53-44, while REALSOCIABLEDAD picked up their second win with a 51-36 victory over KAMIKAZEES.
I'm back on top. 😁
HOTSPUR AND BOTHERED returned to first place with a 54-38 win over GAIS, moving onto 13 points after six matches.
MAFIA FOUR LIONS RL beat previous leaders FOREVERGAIS 72-44, moving into second on 12 points. FOREVERGAIS drop to third, also on 12.
UNBEATABLES RL join them on 12 after beating BONGOHAM 72-52, leaving just one point between the top four.
The week's highest Reality score belonged to WILLS WINGDINGS RL, who beat BERRAS BOYS 77-33 and move onto 11 points.
RAUKENS BK beat NO KANE DO 69-58, while BITS AND PIECES made it two wins in a row after losing their opening four matches, edging WHATTHEHECKE 42-39.
Manager of the Week
Manager of the Week goes to Stuart Lawton after TRUMPTON TOWN produced the highest score across AllSwengland with 84 points.
That makes it two Matchleague wins in succession for TRUMPTON TOWN after starting the season with four straight defeats. Quite a turnaround from where they were a fortnight ago.
The Wooden Spoon of the Week goes to Yngve Johansson after LIVERHAM scored 35 points in their defeat to BONGO FURY.
Cheers 🤓
