Tom Chat - Last 16 Draws and a Date for the Diary
The video from this week’s Tom’s Chat has somehow disappeared, which feels entirely in keeping with the usual standard of our cup draws. Thankfully, the audio survived, so you can still listen to John and me work our way through the Arnold Bolt and SuperEtten last-16 draws.
We were also a day late because I completely forgot we were meant to be doing it.
Business as usual, then.
The Arnold Bolt qualifying round had already reduced the competition to 16 teams, with several of this season’s new entries making it through.
Both of Patrik’s teams, Makrillarna and Atleterna, also reached the last 16 and were briefly drawn against each other before we remembered that managers cannot play themselves and sorted it out.

One of the most interesting ties sees Dhillon’s Hatters take on Laljiland FC, with Dhillon facing his mum, Lorna.
The SuperEtten qualifying round had already removed some big names, including Mafia Four Lions, Dzeko & the Bunnymen, COYS and holders St Ives Seagulls.
The last-16 draw produced several strong-looking ties, including Forever QPR against Unbeatables and Victorious Secret against Tastur Bondai Barca.

We also finally got around to talking about the long-awaited Swengland awards.
